A reduction in workforce changed her life, when for the first time, she had the opportunity to concentrate on writing and discovered how much she loved it. Always a lover of history and romance, she focused her writing on historical romance and only recently started writing romantica. She's having a great time writing the sexier side of Regency London. When not writing, Christie is reading, kayaking, working on house projects, or in the garden. She now lives in Maryland with her two sons.
